Pressure Sand Filter

This pressure filter reduces treated water turbidity to below 5 mg/L, meeting drinking water standards. Its multi-layer filter media effectively removes suspended solids, coagulated particles, silt, iron, manganese, and colloids that are difficult to settle, ensuring clean and safe water quality.

The pressure filter is designed for efficient water clarification in both municipal and industrial applications. Its filter layer can effectively remove suspended solids, coagulated matter, sand, iron, manganese, and colloidal particles that are difficult to settle, delivering clear water with turbidity below 5 mg/L — achieving reliable purification results.

Two inlet modes are available:
• Single-layer Filter: Suitable for raw water with turbidity > 100 mg/L, without prior coagulation or sedimentation. Coagulant can be dosed before filtration, or filtration speed can be reduced for higher turbidity water.
• Multi-layer Filter: Ideal for pre-sedimented water with turbidity of 15–20 mg/L, offering more efficient filtration performance.

Common filter media include quartz sand, activated carbon, and fiber balls, which can be selected or combined based on project requirements. This system is also effective for removing suspended particles and solids from industrial wastewater.
